I may have been remiss in updating my blog, but that is not to say I haven't been taking pictures. I think I have captured the mood in each frame better even without the commentary.

Congrats to Kyle for being awarded the Best in Artwork and to Matt for scoring the most points in basketball!
I just notice that the kids are really doing nothing but the best--be they academecs or co-curricular activities! Keep them up kiddos!

He would have swept all the awards if he wasn't moody on some sessions. Parang tinatamad. But I guess artists are really like that, moody if not inspired.
Matt is more driven and I'm glad he is also developing good discipline because of the sport.

He actually suggested that I sell his painting after we viewed together Vincent Van Gogh's masterpieces online. Hahaha! Parang na-inspire nga.
I hope tuluyan na. You know kids, they're enthusiastic at first then tires of an activity after a while. I do encourage him to try painting at home even if the art classes are over and even if it means I spend an arm and a leg on canvas, art pads, acrylic paints and watercolor. As long as gusto nya, I'm all for it. The kid has talent.

Kyle has great strokes. Tell him to do some plates every week. Go on long vacations and allow him to paint landscapes. Buy him his tools. That way the interest doesnt wane and the skill improves.
Hmm...tama ka nga you have artistic genes...di naman sa Tito directly galing yan...
After this art class, Kyle is always creating something....Like he made a treasure box out of Jake's empty milk box! What a great imagination Kyle Van Gogh has!
