Matt and Kyle were in the Ayala Driving Range for their school's sports fest. Kyle's Grade 2 level was not part of the competitions but they were there for the field demonstration (how very old term! hehehe)...

Kyle, hanging out with Matt and the latterâ??s friends...

A stolen shot of Kyle enjoying the company of his friends...

The haul...

Matt is shown above with his Grade 5 classmates/teammates/friends after winning gold in the 4x100 m. relay against Grade 6. Notice the two medals he's wearing. The other one is a silver medal for winning the 100 m. dash against other Grade 5 and Grade 6 runners. The one on his left, a good friend and a fellow track team member, won the bronze.

After the games and the awarding, we all went home happy and brimming with a lot of stories. I settled in the bedroom with Jake while Jerry and the boys cooled-off with a dip in the pool.

Gotcha! Woohoo! This isn't the 1st time Jake stood on his own in his playpen, but this is the 1st time I caught a pic of him. In my haste, I used my camphone instead of my digicam. To transfer the image to my fotopages I'm trying this mobile blogging if it works. If this entry appears on my blog then YEY for moblogging!

The nurse didnâ??t report for work today, her daughter had ear infection. This meant a whole day with Jake â?? bathing, feeding, playing & napping!

Jake slept for 2 hours while I kept busy reading T3 (gadget review mag)

Maze (at Ayala) turned 1 year today and thereâ??s a sale going on! I hope itâ??s a crazy sale for our two stalls, Teeâ??licious and Otras Cosas â?? a happy kind of crazyâ?¦ Kaching!

This morning, I caught sight of a smiling little girl, genuinely happy and looking like a million bucks rich. Only, she isnâ??t. Not even a measly hundred bucks could be called her own. She looked like she was barely 3 yeas old, holding a plastic cup and begging for loose change with her mother. A happy beggar isnâ??t a common sight and that was what struck me.

Prince Charles and Camila Parker Bowles are getting married?????!!!! Shoot me now! HAHAHA!

Graham crackers + ice cream + cling wrap = yummy ice cream sandwich.
And Jake loved it!

I have started dabbling on gardening now. Yey for me! Soon enough, I found out that the flowering plants I bought last week don't like being exposed to the harsh wind. Some of the leaves curled inward as if cowering in cold. Seeing this, I promptly transferred the "babies" to another spot in the balcony. Fortunately my plants are still alive. Heheheâ?¦Pictures will follow soon.

The past two days breezed by as we went about our usual activities â?? that of bringing the kids to school, attending the 7am mass, going to the office, visiting the stalls in Ayala, picking up the kids, and sharing a good dinner. And the whole time we were squeezing in some loving as we all enjoyed each otherâ??s company.

I, kind of, like it. The homefrontâ??s quiet and peaceful, just as it should beâ?¦

We are celebrating 2 special events today, Chinese New Year and Ash Wednesday.

Both occasions call us to let go of the old and usher in the new â??

Fast and abstain for the Lord!

(I was tagged by RENEE.)

1. "The Way You Look Tonight" â?? Steve Tyrel (originally by Frank Sinatra)
2. "The Very Thought Of You" â?? Steve Tyrel (originally by Nat King Cole)
3. â??Every Little Thing He Does Is Magicâ?? â?? Kevyn Lettau (originally by Police)
4. "You to Me Are Everything" â?? Real Thing
5. "Friends" â?? Mike Francis
6. "You on My Mind" â?? Swing Out Sister
7. "Boy Who Cried Wolf" â?? Style Council
8. "Call Me" â?? Go West
9. "Stars" â?? Simply Red
10. "More Today Than Yesterdayâ?? â?? Goldfinger

1. What is the total amount of music files on your computer?
A measly 3GB is not justifiable for me to buy an IPOD.

2. The last CD you bought is:
A pirated CD (shame on me!) an MP3 of Billboardâ??s 100 - only to satisfy my sons request for Usher and Nelly songs. Prior to that I bought an original Christmas CD by the Gunther Kallmann Choir.

3. What is the last song you listened to before this message:
Oopsâ?¦ I totally forgot.

4. Write down five songs you listen to a lot or mean a lot to you:

Five songs that I donâ??t necessarily listen to a lot, but nonetheless, hold special meaning to me:

a) "Do You Hear What I Hear?â?? â?? as sung by the Lennon Sisters
It reminds me of Christmas as a kid, those were magical daysâ?¦

b) "Blame It On the Rainâ?? â?? Milli Vanilli
One of the many songs that remind me of my SGV employment, the very coop where I captivated Jerry (or the other way around)

c) "Weâ??ve Only Just Begunâ?? â?? Karen Carpenter
One of our wedding songs together with Hindi Kita Malimot and a host of other standard love songs.

d) â??Four Seasonsâ?? â?? concertos by Vivaldi
The theme when Jerry and I were in Piazza San Marco in Venice. It was simply awesome being there and being serenaded by classical music on violin.

e) â??Canon in Dâ?? â?? a classical piece by Pachelbel
It was recommended by my pediatrician along with other classical music for Jakeâ??s brain development when he was born weighing only 2 lbs and 11oz. I guess it really helped a lot.

5. Who are you gonna pass this stick to? (3 persons and why)

a) JUNNIE â?? my brother who is such a music lover
b) MAY â?? my sister who is 12 years my junior; I would love to know her preference for music
c) VANGIE â?? just to see if she and her former classmate Junnie have some music in common
